Genesis 21:9-11

⁹ Now Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, mocking [Isaac].

¹⁰ Therefore she said to Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son, for the son of this bondwoman shall not be an heir with my son Isaac.^(A)

¹¹ And the thing was very grievous (serious, evil) in Abraham’s sight on account of his son [Ishmael].
